CUE-Support can think along in a creative way
All Sint Lucas' teachers are professionals who are also still active in their own fields. Still, they enjoy being advised by the people at CUE-Support. Lecturer Arie Muller explains: "CUE-Support just has a slightly stronger vision of the future and is a bit more up to date on new developments. Through consultation, we are sure that we don't have a blind spot."

    Long-term collaboration

The partnership with CUE-Support goes way back. One of Muller’s colleagues knew Roger Creemers. When Sint Lucas’ teachers ran into a problem, Creemers shot to the rescue with advice. “From that first moment, there was a click,” Muller says. “Why? We were not looking for a supplier who only buys and sells, but for someone with technical knowledge who thinks with us. In this regard, CUE-Support stands out head and shoulders above the rest.”

Sint Lucas often does business with CUE-Support. According to Muller, it is nice to have a sparring partner. “It’s nice not only to see if we’re in the right direction, but also to look at alternatives. I find it admirable how creatively they think along. They really empathize. We are a customer to them, but the relationship is actually very amicable.”

    Thinking along

That collaborative thinking manifests itself in a variety of ways. Muller cites the director’s kit that the school takes to external projects as an example. Creemers was involved as a technician in the configuration devised by Sint Lucas itself. Muller: “We had questions like ‘is it state of the art at the moment?’, ‘how long do you think we can do with it?’, ‘do you have any tips for us?’ Then it’s nice to have someone along to think with us. With those building blocks, we eventually arrived at the set we have now.”

Another example is thinking along in how the client works. Teaching must always be continuous, so equipment must always be available. If something is defective, CUE-Support always looks for solution. If necessary, loaner equipment will be provided. Especially in times when materials prove difficult to supply, it is important for Sint Lucas to have a supplier who understands the education system. “We order before the start of the new school year, and if stuff stays out longer, we can’t run a module. We talked to CUE-Support about that and we were able to refine that process. Now that runs absolutely fine.”

    Human factor

At Sint Lucas, we work with tendering. Since the school operates with taxpayer money, price is very important. Muller is pleased that CUE-Support continues to come out on top. “Price is important to us, we look very critically. But on top of that comes the people behind it. We have very informal contact with CUE-Support, so things run more smoothly and there is great mutual trust. That makes it all easier. The human factor is very important to me.”
